@vincik80 ...è vero...uno sempre da piú importanza alla voce delle donne che fanno Fiordiliggi..ò anche le donne di Despina, ma questa è una Dorabella molto importante!!!!! Elina Garanca è una grande cantatrice..che fa tutti i suoi personaggi veramente meravigliosi!!!

Otherwise, great singing from Garanca.........Maybe just a bit too big for Dorabella though...just maybe.

well, I have to say that I agree... I love her voice, she is a great mezzo but I do think her singing lacks the drama sometimes. I have seen her in a couple of staged performances so far and I think she can act pretty well when she thinks that the role that she is playing is believable... at least, that is the impression that I got... and I just adore Barbara Bonney...
