His vocals fails some partsalthough I possess early Primordial´s stuff since its original release.
-
Watain's version is so much better...

"let´s make some false, out of-tune-clean-vocals where that epic guitarsolo used to be! YEAH!" and why only have half of the keyboard-work of the song? why not half guitarwork too? or drums playing only the first three minutes of the song? i really WANT to like this, but it really sucks..
kan man inte ens låtarna ska man vare sig kalla sig ett riktigt fan ELLER försöka sig på att spela dom.

Bathory + Primordial = Awesome

i've got all primoridal album. my favourite ist the gathering wildernes.
Anyway i've met Alan at the Heidenfest-Tour in Germany. He was totally arrogant while the rest of the bands gaves autographes or let you make a photo with them.
Alan just wanted to get out in the bus in the sleep, because he had done what he had to do for his money.

@Themgoroth616 You are a fucking moron, have you ever listened to Primordial or seen any interviews with him? Somehow i doubt you have.

How can people be saying Alan Averill is a bad vocalist or in this band for the money, he is an amazing vocalist, one of the few true artists left in metal and a huge Bathory fan. Some people are so fucking moronic.
-
I hate the singer. And the triplet on the charleston, which is the trademark of this song, is missing.
-
@orgazm89 oden doesnt want to share quorthon anymore.

There is only one Quorthon and Bathory. But its ok to play Bathory songs live. But the best in that job is Emperor with A Fine day to Die.
@Zoigln What the fuck is wrong with Ensiferum??
I think it's a good idea playing some Bathory songs live. There're plenty of people (like me) who would love to see these songs live and I'm sure Quorthon would have felt honored. It's not about money! If it was, they could have done a fucking Metallica or whatever cover-tour... Those guys really respect Quorthon and his work. That's my opinion....

Yeah I'm really sure these guys are rolling in money performing in a Bathory tribute band. Get real guys. Alan Averill (vocalist) is a huge Bathory fan and holds him up as Primordial's main influence because Bathory was one of the first metal artist to make metal that was heavily influenced by his own culture. If you think money had anything to do with this band and not love for Bathory, I think you highly overestimate how much musicians are paid. These aren't millionaires. Just Bathory fans.
