@TrucksStop Yes, very similar! Thanks for your help with that. Again, thanks for the upload as well. It's rare to find shows this good on Youtube now.

From @InfinityOE - Bock to Bock cover... Incredible. Somebody mentioned this so I thought I'd give it a look... And wow. He really captures Wes' style within his own. I love Derek Trucks... One of at least 5 guitarists I consider my "favorite" (Wes being another). A great hard rockin' flute sound... Amazing to say the least. Can anyone enlighten me as to who plays the flute in this? Thanks very much for the upload.

He never comes to California dang it...I guess I'll just have to come to him...Which I am seriously contemplating doing.

Amazing! I would never have predicted a pairing of these two. LOVE IT.

These really aren't the most representative Derek Trucks solos. I can think of others that capture the dynamics of his playing . Check out his solo from "For My Brother" on the DTB album "Live at Georgia Theater." His solos in "Ain't Wastin Time No More" on the 2003 ABB Beacon Theater Album are quite literally breath taking.

Cody I also happen to love the solos U mentioned, but they require permission. (BTW, Desdamona is my favorite ABB solo by Derek)
Also UR right that Bock to Bock isn't the most representative solo, 1st of all it isn't a slide solo - still I find it stunning what he does with Wes M.'s tune.
Favorite Things, however, is respresentative - U can find 100 versions on the archives. This vers. from Amsterdam was a radio show, great quality, I was there, so I'm not objective - but for me it's magical.
