running errands today when the phrase "you know how it is" came to mind. started from there and kept at it all day. this video is the first complete run through of the song.
a big departure for me as it is not folk, country or blues based. i would almost say it's a pop song except, to quote waylon jennings, " i couldn't go pop with a firecracker in my mouth".
not a bad lil' ditty, whatever it is.
i am calling this my august entry into the grumpycoyotetunes bring the song challenge.
i am way, way behind on checking my subscriptions. i've got a new work schedule and my computer has the slow drizzlers right now to boot. if you ain't heard from me, it ain't because i don't care.
