  • can you pause the video and solve them, or are you supposed to be able to solve them in the time span given in the video?

  • Thanks for this question.

Answer: In the time span given.

More Info: The puzzles are not difficult, but because of the limited time... If you solve 7 of 10 within this environment , your play is appr. 1000-1200 FIDE at least.

  • 9\10 and i am still a beginner :)

    the last one was hard..

  • I think You must be a Master Beginner at least :-)

  • Nr.5 is not a checkmate KxQ

  • Thank You!

Please be advised that Mate 5 is depicted correctly: The d7 Knight is not able to move and take the White Queen because it is being pinned by the Rook.

  • @feetube1 mmm.... the pawns only move forward

  • 8/10

  • 10/10, and none of these puzzles took me more then 10 secs.. Still a beginner:D

  • Nr. 5 is correct. The King cannot take the queen because the bishop is protecting, and the knight can't cause of the pin. 3 is also a mate because the black pawns are coming forward and can't take backwards

  • lol feetube1,you are a noob,aren't you?pawns can only move forward!!nr. 3 is a mate

  • 5 is correct. But Mate 3 is not a mate. PxQ.
