As per my memory, the driver would loud the horn to informed station manager that he is on leaving.

It is DF4. In Chinese, it is short for the pronunciation of East-Wind-4. Green DF4s are usually used for cargo lines which are marked as 100km/h.

是[DF4]。在中文里，这是[东风4]发音的缩写。绿色的[D­F4]多用于货运，标称速度为100km/h。

Yes, at one time this was the pride of China and it showed.

But now China is busy trying to be number one, and that means building ever more.

Resources are being strained to the limits to produce the stealth bomber and space program as well as producing both new rail and highway at an incredible rate.

So, things like a new train wash is not a priority.

Can't believe how under-maintained this loco is... probably the dirtiest DF4 I've seen. I remember the days when almost every green DF4 i've seen were shiny and sparky clean.
