I didn't realize you could just graft branches onto a tree. I'm gonna try to add pink Bougainvillea branches onto a purple flowering Bougainvillea. Good show

May I ask where you buy those plant pots with the really good drainage screens at the bottom from? Do you order them from online some where?

excellent info and great video detail....just curious though....why does the yellow make it less desirable? i loved it like it already was! but part of bonsai is personal taste........cudos to you!!

Very cool. I haven't tried any grafting yet.

hey chansx thanks for another great video, the weather always looks so good where you are - im jealous! :)
ive been having a little trouble with my chinese pepper tree recently, its a small indoor bonsai and has been losing a lot of its foliage since December. i live in the UK so its almost coming up to summer soon, would now be a good time to start wiring some of the smaller branches in place? i have this problems because some of the branches are now clashing since they've grown..?
thanks :)

Most trees can be wired when dormant. My question would be whether the tree should be losing leaves. Broadleaf tropicals and semitropicals usually drop leaves for two reasons: lack of sunlight, or trouble with the roots.
