We are so excited every time one of our pets is adopted but we are saddened for the ones left behind. For some of our pets, this happens time and time again, usually through no fault of their own. In fact, often they have become so subdued over time they become less and less likely to catch the eye of potential families. I ask you to consider one of these long-time rescues the next time you are looking to add a member to your family.

Lucky Lady has been adopted!!!!!

I just found out that Marlee (minute 0:24) has been in our rescue since 2005! Because she doesn't like children, she has been hard to place. She found a home with a wonderful woman, but two weeks later this dear lady's cancer reoccured and she had to return Marlee. It was heartbreaking for everyone. Marlee is a wonderful dog. If you don't run in circles with kids, you couldn't ask for a better dog! Please, won't someone give her a loving home?

We almost adopted Erin but we have a cat!! She's SO sweet- I hope someone adopts her!! Erin the Brindle :) What a love!

I know these beautiful animals are just a drop in the bucket compared to all the animals that need homes. I hope everyone that sees this will go to their local shelter to adopt a family pet today! Great vid Judy, brought a tear.

Yes! LOL But we ended up adopting Barney which we renamed Charlie :) so we didn't walk away empty that day :)

I just found out that Siam (minute 2:08) was adopted New Years Day! Wow! She waited 13 months to find a home but it is a wonderful one. Thank goodness for all the goodhearted people who see the treasure that these pets are!!!
