I was hoping this was for ALL teens, too bad. When I was a kid, they had encouraging speakers come to school and help ALL the kids instead of singling out groups like this. Life gets better when u grow up, the world will not. If everyone has to treat you with kid gloves, you'll never grow. I'm 32, IT does not get better but u do. They called me nerd, but I don't want special treatment just respect. Gay people sexually harass me, I'm STRAIGHT, where's my special rights? oh right, i don't matter.

@nathanieldurkin1 I directly said in the video "it doesn't matter if you're gay, STRAIGHT, bisexual, transgender, genderqueer or whatever." It targets gay teens because parents, teachers, and peers all make gay kids feel like they shouldn't be that way. I know it's tough to be picked on by anyone in school, but it's way worse for the gay kids. There's no national movement saying that being a nerd is disgusting and wrong.

@joerenzullo I hope that someday there will come a time when people are embarrassed by these videos. "What, they had to make a video about gay people's lives getting better? Why did they need to do that? Because gay teens were bullied in school? What kind of idiots would do something like that? That's so mean! It's not like gay kids are different from anyone else!"

The necessity of confronting the reality of African-American soldiers, men and women who were willing to fight and die for our country, was arguably one of the most persuasive influences in moving our country forward. Discrimination (and the dehumanization which it takes as its justification) is much more difficult when confronted with the dignity and humanity of its proposed objects.

So I wonder how much of an impact videos like this will have on our thinking in years to come.

@intheNarmynow that's true and I do understand. It's just that there are countries like Sweden in which one pastor in his own church was preaching against homosexuality because of its alternative lifestyle being pushed so hard on his youth, community and overall area that when he spoke against it, a secret police officer there got backup and arrested him in front of everyone DURING the service, he did 3 yrs in prison because its against the law to speak negatively about homosexuality there.
