Demi: good morning everyone.
Kids: good morning ms. L
Demi: you guys excited for the weekend?
Kids: *nod* yeah!!
Demi: *sits down joining the circle* what is everyone doing for the weekend? Lets start with you Jasmine
Jasmine: *smiles* I-. . I-I-I going to see my cousin.
Demi: wow, how old is your cousin?
Jasmine: *shrugs*
Jake: *opens the door walking in, pushing the door closed*
Demi: *turns around and smiles* good morning Jake!
Jake: morning *starts unzipping his jacket
Demi: *looks at jasmine* keep going honey, I'll be right back *stands up and walks up to jake helping him take off his jacket* how are you feeling?
Jake: *sniffles* good
Demi: have the sniffles?
Jake: *nods*
Demi: well, let me know if your not feeling well. I'll call your mema
Jake: *nods disappointed and walks up to the circle*
Demi: okay kids, since it's Friday and instead of us telling each other what were gonna do, how about we draw what were gonna do
Kids: *stand up and run towards the coloring table*
Demi: *smiles and walks over to the kids and sits on the ground taking a piece of paper and drawing with them.
*a little bit later*
Demi: *at her desk putting some papers away*
*knock on the door*
Demi: *looks up widen eyes* joe!. . . *walks up to him, looking around* what are you doing here?
Joe: Can I please see my son? *looks at her pleading*
Demi: Joe. . .I don't think that's a good id-
Joe: please demi. . .I haven't seen him in 4 days. . . You have NO idea how hard it is.
Demi: *shakes her head* I don't want to be in the middle of this
Joe: *looks her in the eye* please. . . You wouldn't understand what it feels like to not see your kid. . . It's like a huge part of you is missing. Please. . . No one has to know. . And I won't stay long. . I promise.
Demi: *lets out a sigh* come in
Joe: *smiles* thanks demi *walks in looking around*
Demi: *looks around the room* Jake!
Jake: *looks up and his eyes lighten up* DADDY!! *stands up and runs towards him
Joe: *kneels down opening his arms*
Jake: *runs straight into his arms*
Joe: *picks him up hugging him tight* I'm so sorry jake,
Jake: *hugging him*
Joe: *puts him down stroking his face teary* I love you jake.
Jake: I love you too daddy
Joe: *pulls him in for another hug*
Jake: wanna see my drawing?
Joe: *nods* yeah. . .
Jake: *grabs his hand and drags him to the table*
Joe: *sits on the floor joining him*
Demi: *looks out the door scanning before closing it and walking to the kids*
Jenny: *walks over to demi* look what I made! *smiles*
Demi: *acts surprised* wow! That's so pretty. . You can start coloring it in now.
Jenny: *nods* okay *runs to her table*
Demi: *glances around and watches joe and jake*
Joe: *holding jake on his lap helping him color*
Demi: *lets out a small smile before walking over to them sitting down beside joe* hey. .
Joe: *looks at her and smiles* hey. . .
Demi: just to let you know there is only 30 minutes left of school. . .do you want to stay or leave?
Joe: is mom picking jake up?
Demi: *nods* every day and she comes 5 minutes early sometimes. . So not to sound mean but you should probably go before she gets here
Joe: *shrugs* she'll need to get over it
Demi: jo-
Joe: he's my son, demi. . .if I want to take him home with me, than I will
Demi: but your mom ..
Joe: if she has a problem she'll have to come to me, I just got him back. . I'm not giving him up anymore, I went 6 days without seeing him, I don't know about you but I can't handle it.
