i wish i was back in Laos again. I missed the countryside life style, riding the buffalo, feeding chickens and ducks. At night, u sleep in a net, coz of mosquitos and all u hear are insects and keckoe.

Hi, my friend's house is 20 minutes from Vientiane. You have to be a lao citizen to own land in Laos. U cannot trust anyone in laos, not even ur own relatives.

For me, our country is a better place to live. If I can afford or own this piece of property in Laos I will never live here in the US or go back home if I'm already living here and enjoy the rest of my live in lao live style way! Not suffering being controlled by the white boyz.

They now have apartment complexes and condos for you to rent if you miss Vientiane. It's alot cheaper than renting or buying a home in the USA. If you do buy a house in Vientiane, the mortgage is very affordable.

In 50 years when you retire, you can collect your social security checks from the USA and live in your old age happy in Laos. You don't have to fantasize anymore.

Laos has always been free. That's why you have foreign tourists visiting the country every year. You wait too long, you miss out on all the fun! Laos is changing fast! They keep building new shopping plaza and restaurants in Vientiane.

If you hate the US so bad why are you here? Pls feel free to go back. I am Laotian as well but I love the US. I have family in Vientiane and we own a house there for when we go visit we always have a place to stay.....visit there is nice but I would never want to go back there and live. The United States is a great place I am free to do as I wish.
