This is an arrangement I did for Carry on My Wayward Son by Kansas. It was originally composed around 1970, I believe. I put this up here because I noticed there was no free piano part for this song on the internet (that I could find).

rushyeskansas made a really good tutorial on how to play this part, so you can see the notes that are being played. Here's a link to the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hT-m1GMBqNs&feature=channel

Here's the piano sheet music link:

http://www.mediafire.com/file/mmmkhmnoydg/Carry On My Wayward Son - Piano Solo.zip

If you have Windows, just right click the ZIP file and click "Extract Al..." and you have the 2 images that you can print.

If the link's down, leave a comment. Don't subscribe to me, i don't make many videos.

  • and it's honky white trash ppl like u that make this world a shit hole

  • @NICKIMINAJjr09 LOL, good one. stay fresh homie

  • hmm in ur music ur missing like half the song. you have the "piano" parts but he uses another piano/synth that uses the organ sound. those parts I need as well.

  • @wesman2232

these are the cords for the organ part (all of them are 1-3-5 chords):

    C major, D major, G major, A major

other than that, there's really nothing else to know but the rhythm, which you can learn from the song.

  • Kansas are really top talented musicians, each very complex in their instruments. I takes natural talent to even be able to pick it apart by ear. They have a concert DVD that was of them playing in their reunion tour. Still all top notch musicians, you may want to check those out... Peace Bro...
