Wow, I DO NOT know who to respond to. So many lovely comments! I really enjoyed making it and I worked hard.
I'm glad so many people love it.
Luke and Noah NEED to be together!

Now that the show is over, I believe that eventually Luke will do exactly what Noah wished on the last episode. His grief will run its course and he will go to California and their love will be renewed. The foundation could thrive based in SF or LA, and our two lovebirds could live "happily ever after". I know Noah will wait, just as he said.
I say this from experience. I had someone I let go years ago, when I was afraid to come out. 11 years later I found him, and we've been together 8 yrs.

I don't know why I'm so difficule to understand? I'm 65 and been watching the gay scene for 50 years. We've come a long way, yes...but apparently not long enough to save Luke/Noah and Oliver/Kyle - they're both off the air. Does that not send a message to all gay folks? Yes, we have Will and Grace, but that's Comic, not real life. As long as we keep it comic/camp, the US will accept it...but when it comes to real life, it's thumbs down by America. "Nuff said...I grow tired of this issue.
twins1729 what is you "beef.?" Please re-read what I said. My point was that gay books, movies, soaps "MUST" have a sad/unhappy ending to satify the American palet. Also, if you have kept up with Fish (policeman) and Kyle (Med. student) on One Life to Live...because of the "low ratings" the soap received with the love story of these two men, even though Oliver fathered a child, they cut their story and about 6 other character associated with their story. So, gay characters still pay the price.

@09WestTexas So what you're saying is that you believe all of America is homophobic and gay storylines to end badly to make people happy? Or that ANY storylines need to end badly to make people happy?

It's the same tired old predictibal ending of all gay relationship in books, movies and now TV, that the gay couple must have a sad ending to satisfy and stroke the Puritanical American mind-set...e.g. Broakback Mountain. God forbid that we ever see or read about two men or two women EVER "live happily everafter." In fact, I think God is only concerned that a man/women, man/man and woman/woman relationship has genuine love. And love is what one is willing to sacrifice for another.

@09WestTexas LOL, you don't know what you're talking about very well do you? Luke and Noah didn't end up together because As the World Turns was cancelled. If the show was allowed to go on, they would have found their was back to each other.
