My guinea pigs Sgt. Pepper and Walnut were already pretty excited about their newly expanded cage, but then they *really* started popcorning and running laps when I crinkled a plastic bag for them. They're not afraid of it; that's just sheer joy they're displaying. Before I got him, Baby Walnut got into the habit of thinking that all plastic bags meant food. While trying to desensitize him to the sound, I discovered this funny reaction from the two of them. Silly piggies. :D

  • i has a question. :) so is it okay to put two male guinea pigs together? will they be happy with eachother?

  • @jokersgirlfriend45 Usually if the one male is young (like Walnut in the video) they will get along fine. Introducing two older males may be harder, but not impossible. Just like with people, it all comes down to if they like each other.

  • hi! wat do u use a a bottom for the cage? i want to use a towel, but then i thought poo would be harder to clean out! thanks bye!

  • @MairacleMaker10 I use aspen wood bedding. I get the huge bags from Petsmart or Petco.

  • This video is so cute! Did it cost over 50 dollars to create that cage?

  • @PandK365 Nope! I think I got the pack of grids from back to school clearance and the corrugated plastic board (coroplast) I got for free from work (retail). So, I got a *really* great deal, but even if I had to buy it all full price, it would still be less than $50. That's the best part of making the C&C cages.

  • @mattmax11 The hopping they're doing is called "popcorning", because they randomly *pop* like popping corn! They do it when they're happy.

  • @hollaythevampgurl123 Check out guineapigcages (dot) com for ideas. The more space they have, the better.
