See you later....HH Style

In 2008 after an amazing week at Double H Ranch I had the privilege of watching the counselors say good-bye to each of the campers. It was really cool and awesome. Why is double H Ranch so special? Ben had 80% of his upper right arm removed and replaced with a donor bone to remove the osteosarcoma tumor that was in it in early 2007. You can see how Sam matches every move with Ben and does it with just the right amount of vigor. Every time Sam and Ben would greet each other or say farewell for now this is how they did it. My understanding from other counselors is that they did one that was at least twice as long. Double H ranch is a special place for kids who face life threatening illnesses. Thank you Paul Newman, Charlie Woods, Max and everyone else who makes the magic happen.

Totally just cried alittle. This place was my home away from home. A place where I felt whole and free. I miss it greatly and hope to return to give back what was given to me over the 8 years I went =) HH For Life <3 <3 <3
