Michael Whelan - Time For Me To Go - Wexford - The Band Wagon Tv - 5th Feb 2011

Having contributed tracks to both The Potential Collection Vol2, from the Zodiac Session, and The Red Chair Vol1, from Wexfords Red Chair, Michael Whelan has been well known around Ireland's singer songwriter circuit for the past couple of years.

Full of thought provoking lyrics, delivered through a rough gravel voice, his songs combine a broad range of influences, and have drawn comparison to the likes of Tom Waits & Mark Lanegan.

Currently preparing to spend some time in the recording studio, 2011 should hopefully see the release of a debut album.
