4 OAKLAND POLICE OFFICERS KILLED - TRIBUTE

It's a sad day in Oakland, California, as well as for Law Enforcement nationwide. 4 of our brothers were shot down and killed.

Personally it has hit me hard. I was born in Oakland and worked in law enforcement for 15 years in the Bay Area. I have had the privilege of working next to some of Oakland's finest. While I didn't know these officers personally, it is still especially hard and I take it personal.

I have put together a brief video tribute to our fallen brothers. Please take a moment to view it, pass it on and share it. Also, take a moment out of your day to say "thank you" to a Police Officer.

Somebody killed a policeman today,
and a part of America died.

A piece of our country he swore to protect,
will be buried with him at his side.

The beat that he walked was a battle field too,
just as if he'd gone off to war.

Yes, somebody killed a policeman today,
in your town or mine.

While we slept in comfort behind our locked doors,
a cop put his life on the line.

Now his ghost walks a beat on a dark city street,
and he stands at each new rookie's side.

He answered the call, of himself gave his all,
and a part of America died.

Say "thank you" to a cop today!

Recently we had an officer killed in the line of duty & some of the EVIL comments left on the comments section are sickening. I can't believe ppl allow that on their thread. Thank you for protecting these the loved ones eyes safe from disgusting evil comments!
