My first day at middle school, I met a kid with RID Optimus, Megatron, and the Spychangers. He also brought a VHS to class. From that day on, I was sold.

This show was alright, but Armada was better. I didn't like the mixing of vehicle designs with Beast Wars designs. It wasn't necessary to have Decepticons and Predacons.

@StarFoxAutobot join the movement to kill 4kids! or at lest bring it back to what it was before 2003 when they got a new CEO who wanted to fuck up every thing they got there hands on as well as buy the rights to cool shows and not air them.

This series was totally messe dup in so many ways, I mean, one of the Predacons was called, SLAPPER?! XD My dear Primus . . . .
The only thing I really like about this series was Skybyte, as for the rest, I don't really care much for it, I prefer Armada to RID. XD

@Skinner0816 It lasted a year, from 2001-2002 and it wasn't canceled; all 39 episodes made in Japan as "Car Robots" were screened (more or less) in the US as "Robots in Disguise".

I would like to know what the writers were smoking when they came up with Sky-Byte. Especially with his Shark mode.

Better ask the Beast Wars people. Sky-Byte is a redeco of Transmetal 2 Cybershark from the Beast Wars toyline. Who was a Maximal, even.

Beast Wars and Beast Machines have nothing to do with the Japanese productions.
The only thing RID has in common with Power Rangers and Digimon is they were imported and dubbed by Saban. They don't share any other production credits.
