  • For those who believe in temporary punishment, I say this:

Re 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

The devil, the beast (a man) and the false prophet (another man) will burn forever. Right?

Add to that what Jesus said to the 'goats' Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.

    And????

  • @catholicexodus a few things. "Forever" and "everlasting" do not mean without end in the bible, in fact it's the opposite, it only means an indefinite amount of time or age which can be short or long depending on context, else when the bible says "forever and ever" do you think this means for infinity & infinity? Do a serious study on the Hebrew and Greek terms behind key translations, particularly Olam, Aion, Aionion, etc. Then do the same for "hell" (Sheol, Gehenna, Hades, and Tartaroo).

  • Look in Revelation and see what the second death is. The second death is the lake of fire. So when you say "death" it means the second death.

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

    Revelation 21:8 KJV

  • @harmono

There's an interesting verse on 2nd death: Rev 2.11 "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the ekklesia; He that overcometh shall not be hurt (adikeo) of the second death."

Does this "hurt" (adikeo) equate with annihilation as some imagine?

Rev 20.14: "death and hades (grave) [ie, the 2 malakim in Rev6.8] were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death."

I also did a video series on the lake of the fire article by Dr. Martin. The lake isn't "hell."

  • @AllOtherNamesUsed AMEN! Augustinian view of a literal hell believers are the ones who are decieved and seem to be unwilling to research the matter!

  • @harmono The lake of fire is the second death and follows the judgment of works. This is the destruction of the old man not crucified and buried with Christ as in Romans 6. But there will also be a new creation.

  • Gods Plan is Fair

He created everyone to be EVIL then by Divine Lottery He selected so many in each Generation to be Good.

We are all being TRAINED, I the Lord Create Good & Evil see ISAIAH 45:7

Everyone will be called into the Family of God at their PREDESTINATED time, Most will not be called until the Judgements start, Every Knee will Bow Every Tongue will Confess Jesus is King of Kings

  • @Villagexxidiot122 Far be it from me to agree with lizazoon, but "hell" is not a doctrine Jesus taught, at least not in the sense it is commonly understood, ie, never ending punishment. The Greek terms used in the NT are Gehenna, Hades, and Tartaroo once. One wonders, which of these "hells" is the destination for eternal punishment? The Truth is concealed by these translations. Part of the problem is another bad translation, "aion/aionian" (eon) which is usually rendered as forever/eternity.

  • @lizazoon And I say to you it is not a requirement for you to believe in hell for you to go there you think of it a childish nonsense thus you disclaim the teaching of jesus so go ahead sin until your happy but know this the day will come when you have to answer to a higher power.

  • Hell is pure childish nonsense.
