@yubbone exactly how I feel about alk trio.
-
Alkaline Trio is timeless because Matt actually writes about current events and things that stand out to him. And I'm glad not every song is about sex and partying. ;D
Started on Alkaline Trio when I was in 8th grade, I'm a junior in college. Matt Skiba, I love you, and I'd so love to meet you, but I'd probably be afraid to crawl around in that head of yours.

I'm 94 and I hate this.

I'm carrying alkaline to the grave with me. Heard them first in 3rd grade.. i'm going to be a senior in high school next year and i still listen to them every day. Seen them twice, definitely seeing them again many times. Might get my first tattoo in homage to them. They're just fucking awesome.

makes me smile everytime

Badass song. The kind of music you'll still listen to on the day you die
-
@yubbone I agree. Some stuff you get older and you think "jesus, that's actually shit, I can't believe I enjoyed that", but this is the sort of stuff that's timeless. I'll still enjoy this album when I'm 50.

Alkaline Trio is still appealing to you because they have talent..

Two people were left in the test tube way too long. -shakes finger- Sorry that you lack the ability to see what an amazing song and talented band this is. If you don't like it, don't waste time disliking it or even listening to it.
its fucking cool how you listen to something when you're young, then move on to completely different kinds of music and styles but then find yourself back to what you used to listened to and you think to yourself "there was a fucking reason this was cool"

I used to listen to ak3 skateboarding to school every morning, freshman year of highschool. I'm now graduating from college, eight years later, and still love them. Seein them in sf on the 18th!
