The Patridge Family frontman performs what became Manilow's biggest hit while wearing a Travolta style Saturday Night Fever suit. Terrible Joe Cocker-esque dance moves to boot.

Earlier I made a comment that David cassidy wrote the song,I write the songs..

My mistake sorry..But that doesn't change the fact that david is still number one..

every song he touches he makes it his own..

hey Let's put it this way if he sang the dictionary and made it into a record I would buy it.

This song will always be a Barry Manilow song. Sorry David; but no one sings it better than Barry!!

Bruce Johnstone of the Beach Boys wrote this song. Check out the Song "Tomorrow" from Mr Cassidy's album entitled "Home is Where the Heart is". Written by Paul and Linda McCartney, produced by Bruce Johnstone, and sung by David. Brilliant!

oh yeah...btw...the smile at 2:44-2:46 did me in! And I just remembered how I thought back then this song was written for him especially because of the part about the young girls. Maybe it was written just for him.

This is awesome. I had the album this was on and loved this song when I first heard it. He puts more of his soul in it and originality of his voice add to it all the more. David did not get the credit he deserves in all of his work as a singer.

At 54 my 3 kids dont & cant understand this era of following 'the' popstars of 70's.

Kids today follow no pop idols with posters covering their bedrooms & are instead fed continious PC & BS+ alternative lifestyles, therefore no lasting memories associated with tunes. I would gladly go back to 1970 but prefere being 54 today than 13.

You had to live through those days & everything else going on to know how much these songs meant and actually mean today.

    Great Upload, thanks.
