Multiple Sclerosis: starting Tysabri (Natalizumab)

I have had MS for well over 5 years now. Rebif helped me for three years (my relapses went from 4 ayear to two, and they were much milder). However, my MS has sped up again, so I am going to start Tysabri....

The way your skin reacted ( think you made a comment on an earlier video that the injection sites were leaving you with indentations?) Now that you're not using rebif, did the indentations go away?? I'm just about to start using it.

sorry to take so long to answer. I think it has improved slightly. It does not look bad. I should also mention that what happened to me is rare. It is probably more apparent because I am skinny, which in the case of injecting, does not help things! LOL

@canadarobin Did I not write back to you? i am sorry if that is the case. The indents went away only slightly. The shape of my leg is changed, but hard to notice if you don't know what they looked like before. please remember this is a rare occurence. Sorry to answer so late.

Hello lovely! Do not worry! Most of the people who got PML had other auto-immune that they were being treated for. There are many articles saying that the families thought it was because of the Avonex, but I don't think there was proof. Also, they were on Avonex for a lot longer than me.

So....I have not detoxed, unless you include cosmopolitans, which I have cut down on.

Taking drugs is a very difficult decistion ,,

you know about all horrible side effects & don't wanna take it but you need it , you have to .!
