  • @bummunchcin Know what yer talking about when you dis someone!! Cool it dude. Last I heard she was in the Far East teaching English. And she is singing about my ( and her) life and location, so each to his own. Apology??!

  • @bboonstra Oh, sweet, I didn't know you had a video for prairie town? I was trying to find a copy of the video for Joshua. I'm fairly positive you showed me and Sean a copy when we were hanging out at the cast apartments one day. Many years ago when you first made it. I really wanted to show a friend, is it online somewhere?

    Yell, see you around!

    Rory

  • Beautiful song and visuals.

  • Brenda, could i have possibly sang some counting crows with on a beach in koh phangnan Thailand many moons ago (Irish Guy, don't know if you remember - i'm sure its you)

  • Hey Rancher Mama give me a ring and we will get some music going. Home in September...

  • Wow small world I live in the same small town as Brenda... If brenda reads this... I would love to jam I play fiddle, Guitar and banjo and I sing. your accross the field from me!

    anyway great music...

    you should play Folk fest.

  • Brenda, not sure where you are now (Japan?), but this video is just great! It connects strongly with those of us have seen a Prairie storm bearing done on them, zero visibility in a February snow storm, the smell of the soil when it is turned over first thing in the spring, and of course, the growl of the combine, and the dust that settles low and drifting slow over the landscape, in the September twilight!!

  • Good song, love the tracks with the elevators in the background, nuff said

  • I love Brenda's obvious love of her prairie roots and her conviction as she sings. I am a prairie woman, too, and I have visited many places, but I am never at home until I am back on the Canadian plains.
