@eap415 Well, I just wanted to point out now that the Part 4 DVD has come in early for several online buyers, and they DO indeed call it "Satan Soul" in the dub.

I just hope the dub keeps it as "Satan Soul." I mean, the dub translates Mirajane's Japanese nickname "Majin" as "She-Devil." Now THAT is sick.

@eap415 I dunno, the Funi subs keep the name as "Satan Soul," and they even title the episode as "Advent of Satan."
As for the swearing in the dub, well, it's not very prevalent, but it's there. I believe they say about every word you listed except "pissed." However, I honestly like it better that way; they reserve most of the swearing for the more intense and serious scenes, which actually makes them more powerful.
Besides, if they get to season 2, they'd DEFINITELY keep the flashing.

I think the swears that should pass are pissed, screwed, crap, freakin and maybe hell if it's not in swear context (Total drama island and the regular show have all of these) and leave the major cursing for the dvd's, they'd probably change mirajane's satan soul to something else and the episode when fake lucy flashes her boobs

The only voice I really enjoy of animax dub of fairy tail was Natsu and Happy.
Happys one was perfect!
But the rest of the voices in animax was a meh to me.
