Medieval II Total War Online Battle #40: Byzantines vs the Turks

I command the Byzantine Empire.

My opponent, byloos, commands the Ottomans.

I honestly don't remember which battle this is for me. I think it's #40 or around that number. I lost all of my old replays since I forgot to save them from my old PC. That said, this is my first time playing this game on my new PC. It runs really smoothy. Now I can play this game properly now. Still, I don't find this time period that interesting.

I just attack with warriors up front, then I flank them with 1 battalion of horsemen (Meanwhile, my archers are in the back, firing arrows) and then, if the warriors are losing, I still have another set of horsemen, who flank the enemy troops who are defeating mine, then the battle is usually in my favor...

I noticed someone playing this game as the Mongols and Egyptians. I've just installed this on my pc and don't have that option, are there any updates I can download? Will be more than happy to lock horns in mortal combat once I'm up and running with the game - I've played the Rome version before so am not a complete novice.
