youre just an ignorant douchebag. You should see how many times Marines and Soldiers dry fire their weapons before they actually get to shoot for real. Its just practice.. Muscle memory. helps you learn how to breathe and squeeze the trigger properly for improved accuracy.

Bigtito24 your wrong. Dry firing can only help you improve your shooting and helps you learn the proper breathing, holding the weapon, etc...its like stretching before the game. It gets your muscles ready and helps you prepare. Plus dry firing can give you confidence too that your going to do things right and its not the first time that day. Learn something tito24.

lol i heard that dry firing was bad.... untell i started working as a sniper rifle builder the rem 700 has to be dry fired 50 times just to set the trigger and why way its designed there is no damage to the pin dry firing only thing that i see could be bad is if there isnt enought enamel on your set screw lock nuts it may walk your settings off and start you on the slam fire kick .. good vid

Nobody holds perfectly still, there is still a small amount of movement. Thats where timing and knowing where your trigger breaks comes into play. That's why i'm getting an adjustable trigger put in my rem 700 this week. 2.5 lbs

Well, you're only partially correct: Dry firing a rim-fire is not advised, but center fire dry firing is just fine...
By the way do you even know why dry firing of rim fire, isn't advised?

ruger states in their owners manuals that dry firing will not harm the firing pin or what not. can remember what firearm though.

The "idiot" in the photo shot six deer last year. All one-shot kills. I shot a 17 1/4 inside spread 160 lb 8 point this year and a doe, (with my 1903A3), so far... Made sure I had dry fired from position each time. Helped with the buck which was a left hand shot. But, if you think it's a dumb idea.....
