Let's watch a storm surge from a low bridge.... Oh I'm being dragged away by it, it's the weather! Blame the weather lol... No it's population control.

I stayed there for a weeks vacation when I was 12 years old in 1971. Great footage. I've never seen a storm surge all at once like that.

i live just up the road t happend one time and nearly washed me out to sea

this is my home village ive seen this happen may times, the reason the petrol station at the bottom of the hill is no longer a petrol station is because the fuel tanks kept getting flooded so they gave up selling salty petrol!!

I think this video plays down the scale of what happned. It looks so tame on the vid but when you're stood on the beach you realise you wouldn't have stood a chance there

I have never experienced a storm surge like that before, but there was one that hit Galveston, Texas two weeks after I left there.
