Witnessing the longest of this millenium annular solar eclipse in Varkala town, Kerala state, South of India. Community members where we live, brought us special glasses short before the eclipse has started. We used them as a filter for the miniDV camera, otherwise filming would not have been possible. In the video you will see an alternative method to watch the eclipse - by projecting sun on the piece of paper using the cartoon sheet with the small hole.
The duration of the full overlap between moon and the sun was about 2-3 minutes. The air became fresh, no heat from the sun, less sunlight in the houses - almost like in the early evening.
