Min. Louis Farrakhan Responds to Rihanna's Grammy Outfit

Nation of Islam leader Min. Louis Farrakhan's held his annual Saviour's Day speech in Illinois on Sunday, February 27th and spoke about a variety of topics including Scientology, Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi and pop star Rihanna.

In the controversial four-hour speech, Min. Farrakhan makes mention of seeing Rihanna perform at the GRAMMY Awards and says if her performance "didn't revoke you, you're beginning to be a swine".

He goes on to describe the performance from the "poor sister" and says that "she's dressed almost in a pair of draws. And she got her legs wide open and is just grinding away.

Rihanna responded to Farrakhan's comments on her twitter account. Below are Rihanna's comments as well as a snippet of the controversial speech. Farrakhan's remarks about Rihanna are at the 3:07 mark.

As far as I am concerned, they should have had Malcolm killed. That is what you do with traitors. It was one thing for Malcolm to leave after he learned what he did, but it's completly another to try and expose and shame the entire NOI. @dblk, nah i had that perspective too but there is an islam&quran that predates arab islam&thats what the NOI is reppin. The founder of the NOI Fard Muhammad was a scholar whom knew over ten languages&travelled the world, he was from the near east and knew its secrets & he brought forth the secret knowledge of old black islam. Fard and Al Jahiz are the main references of this fact, over a thousand years ago the black muslim Al Jahiz wrote a book called "the glory of the blacks over the whites".

Pretty strange how some African-Americans are adopting Islam as their religion as if it were somehow a "black man's religion". When in many cases their forefathers were sold to slavery not by white christians, but by arab muslims.
