@pennibee Totally agree with you. People are silly when it comes to the desert. Just because you don't see in the desert does not mean that is not there. When I was in the Army, in Fort Irwing California, in one of the dry lakes, after a day of rain, it flooded. Thing is that one day before that, me and my unti were camping there. And all it takes to move a vehicle si 36 inches of water.

@haroof you know you can drown in a few inches of water? So yes, that very well could have killed him. All he had to do was stand there for long enough that the force of it would have hit his legs, he would have fallen down and not have been able to get back up due to the force of the water knocking him down again and again. Brains, dear... we were all born with them.

Yeah i wish i had the camera ready before it came. it was pretty breath taking. I was kinda stupid because i took the time to grab my lawn chair and cooler but i still made it lol.
