This is Ruger, He just turned four this month July "10"
I started him in Dr. Cooks Bitless Bridle.
I was asked to do a Demo for Norfolk Hunt Pony Club, This time instead of working with the members in a clinic setting, the President of the club thought it would be nice for the members to see what is possible.
She sawa photo of me on my website riding my former horse in just a neck rope. So she asked for a demo in a neck rope. "I said sure no problem" I had never ridden Ruger in a neck rope, I'm still working on getting a decent neck rein on him. So this is practice session for our demo next month.
I don't practice riding my own horse too much as I am off farm training other horses, but I do hop on him bareback for about 10-15 minutes( saddle makes it a big production) and school him a little a couple times a week. To get to this point he has only been ridden like this 6 times all told less than an hour if you count actual time.
I tried to get him to bow, but it didn't work out, but look at my other video of training a horse to bow, it was his finest!
Thanks, I enjoyed your singing video that I just looked at. Great job! I can't sing or dance.
