So the point I'm trying to make here is that the only thing you've really said is that you believe in something we don't. That's all fine and dandy and entirely within your rights. I was just kind of wondering why you though we needed to know. Or were you trying to say something different?

The bible is simply a book. A book writen by men. Men who lived long after Jesus' death and supposed resurection. We all know how stories passed by word of mouth tend to change with each telling. The deeds of Jesus are most likely the result of the grandness of tales increasing with constant retelling, as opposed to any actual basis in fact, if they were ever even more than stories to begin with.

Your video sounds nice, but it doens't really say anything, nor does is refute anything said by the Amazing Atheist in the video you're responding to. He gave us historical facts and practical reasoning, however all you've really done is spout biblical platitudes, which goes a long way with people who believe that the bible is the word of god, however, he, and I, and many of the people you are going to reach with this video do not.

Someone once said there are no atheists in foxholes -- I thought the cemetary was a thoughtful touch. When facing imminent violent death some might reconsider this "drivel." That's where the rubber meets the road -- in the cemetary! If we who have believed in Jesus are wrong then we are no worse off than our atheist friends BUT if we are right then we are alive with him forever. Oh yeah, that would be torture for an atheist -- to be with a God they have hated forever. It works out, I guess.
