@BloodRedChorizo I haven't tried the 1.4 but the 1.8 is amazing and it's only $100. It's well worth it to get this lens and test it out first and then upgrade to the 1.4 if you like it. But the 1.4 is supposed to be 10 times better than this one so if you have the money to spend I would probably do it.
