I love the way she can vary her vocal range and/or style within one song. Very impressive. I agree with @evacorvette13 that her voice can be angelic, as it is here. Given the nature of her lyrics, I am comfortable with the assumption that she writes them herself. I very much doubt that a male could/would express himself in the same way. I see Lana as rather like a young Bob Dylan, but viewing the world from a different perspective. Great talent and enormous potential.

@InYourBoatRace Her ACTUAL debut, in my opinion her best work, was written entirely and solely by her. As was this song and most of her earlier demos. And Lana mainly writes with Justin Parker, who only helps her with the arrangements.

@lanadaily Actually she had help with Video Games as well. She co-writes some lyrics while someone else produces the music. She has a good voice for sure, but lets not make her out to be a genius

@mistyhendon i have to remind you ,she haven't written all of her new songs.and at interview she said that "video games" is about guy which played a games every time.pathetic.that song is so much more and she even aware of it! that makes me her a bit fake.. i am not hater but there is something about her. ...
