Hippety hip, hippety hop! Help snakes Rattle and Roll get to the top!

Rare's quirky isometric platformer Snake Rattle 'n' Roll follows the adventures of twin snakes as they climb stage-by-stage up the magic mountain in an attempt to reach the moon. You know... As snakes do.

This has to be one of my favourite NES titles of all time, despite taking the phrase "Nintendo Hard" to a whole new level. It may go easy on you at the beginning, but the later stages (especially the final two ice stages) can reduce grown men to tears. I know this from experience! :-)

Anyway, hope this brings a little bit of Nintendo nostalgia back to you.

Dude, that was a neat trick you did in the 4th level with the yellow anvil! How'd you do it?

@MathewV21688 That final (golden) anvil will follow your snake's movements, so you can guide it onto the scales and auto-open the level's exit. Useful if (like me) you lose all your snake's segments before making it to the weigh-in! :-)

This is one of my absolute most favourite games of all time! I loved making my snake slither around with a :D face on all the time because that's how this game makes me feel!
