Sin is something you find in Christianity. It's dualism! Good evil! Sin Righteousness! AngelsDemonds! Apart from Christianity there is no Sin..or until they start judging you so you can repent. To them the whole world is in deep sin, human beings are all wretched, everyone's blind, everyone's lost, so on. Jesus even said if you eyes are dark then your whole body is full of darkness. Too bad for their duelism...the light and darkness they bear... the tree of good and evil.

To sin is to miss aim. The target or achievement we must all hit is the perfect justness of the Eternal Almighty. To be sinless we would have to perform every thought, word and deed perfectly and we know we don't. Some people are, particularly the religious, often think they no longer sin. It has been said that we are not sinners because we sin, but that we sin because we are sinners. There is a distinction between evil and sin. All sin is evil, but not all evil is sin.

Sin is everything that is contrary to God`s perfect will for His creation.

Sin is means to control people. If you can make someone feel guilty you can control them. If there's a problem you need an answer. Church talks about rapture, sin, healing, etc...all means to control without absolute answer. As long as you are in religion you will never feel certain with questions like will i go to heaven? why don't god heal? why am i going through problems..and you end up with answers to make you into a consistent xians that can make you go on without proof.

@jumpmaster1 so is every other kingdom that claims eveyone's knee and their tongue. You're quoting your own bible. If you are trying to make that happen you're simply following the footsteps of middle age christians who killed everyone else who don't believe. You say you wont because of love. LoL! that love is biased and twisted since it's only love to lure people in..you may be sinsere but still..it's like I will love you if you give me all your money..who wouldn't? same with all religions!

Sin is transgression of the laws of...

ignorant, superstitious bronze age savages---like the ones who wrote the bible--which is precisely why biblical morality is so twisted and barbaric. It's consistent with with the mentalities and mores of the time.

Sin doesn't exist because god doesn't exist. What does exist is human morality and thoughtful attempts to formulate a codes of ethics for the purpose of human survival and co-existence. There is no moral law outside this context.
