It's time for the traditional Steam Festival at the Jokioinen Museum Railway, and there is a need for volunteers... and I'm one of them.
Last year I worked as a dispatcher (-in-training, I guess?) at Salminen, and now I volunteered to work as a block signal at Raemäki - another small flagstop about a mile south of Salminen. Why Raemäki and not Salminen? Well, the weather broadcast warned us about heavy rains, and I wanted a place where I could stay dry, so I picked up Raemäki - there's a small hut in there.
And just to add the irony; rains never came during the daylight hours.
