@ToxicGus Not likely, Sega's downfall was because the corporate heads of the various divisions couldn't get along with anyone and even had they not worked their developers to death on this (leading them to abandon the company entirely) they still didn't know how to properly run a business and would have killed themselves off just as quickly anyways.

I doubt Sonic would be bigger than Mario in most places, but this game probably would have helped him stay popular. During the N64 gen his popularity decreased a lot.

@ToxicGus Sure, the game looks fun enough but would this seriously compete with Super Mario 64 and Crash Bandicoot for the time? I doubt it. (That's just what I mainly think)

because they could never finish it because they lacked ideas and time. an important person working on the game nearly died

@ToxicGus Im not sure about that. Sega left alot of people unable to buy future consoles after the genesis addons. I wasnt able to buy the saturn. I think that if they didnt have all those addons, and they released the Sega Saturn they wouldve earned alot of money. I always wanted to play games like Nights and Sonic Jam. But i couldnt.
