It's painful to watch NRDC & Co encouraging baseless faith in a phony process with a foregone conclusion: drilling in places not deemed worthy of special protection, drilling that is "regulated":  The first is unjust, the second a delusion and recipe for disaster.

What we need is a Statewide Ban. Don't be distracted from the only just and effective solution, or you'll find yourself Fracked. Sign the petition for a statewide ban.

Sorry, no. No one with their eyes open puts faith in the review process. It is a sham, designed to flim-flam the unwary into thinking that they're being listened to. Industry end-run or no industry end-run, this process' result will be that dangerous, dirty, destructive gas drilling, including HD/HVHF will go forward in NYS, after the necessary phony assurances have been given, and the process has received a phony certification of safety.
