I love the way JLT is honest and truthful about everything in his career. Great vocalist and seems like a great dude..

Can understand him being a bit sore over Purple. But I saw the S&M tour and thought he was awful. He murdered most of the back catalogue in my view. The first 3 tracks on the S&M album were okay. The rest was simpering AOR drivel. An okay singer and he was fine doing Rainbow stuff when Blackmore wanted a US radio friendly, commercial sound. Put in a serious blues rock outfit and he was out of his depth. He (and Purple) got it badly wrong and the rest of the band (- Blackmore) are open about it.

What does playing classical music have to do with anything? Jethro Tull's music is influenced from classical, as Frank Zappa, and a host of other people.

I bet it would be different if it was ian gillan. Probable be nothin but praise comments about how he can't do anything wrong. It's his opinion. This isn't a one-sided story. Joe lynn turner isn't the one to blame here. he's just giving his opinion

he's talking about the album 'Nothing's Changed', right? That really is my favorite solo album from him. Great songs, great album, from a great singer.

JLT rules. I have been listening to my catalog on the ipod, and never realized how many of the great tunes I have loved he was a part of. I started to really rediscover his stuff after his interview on That Metal Show. Great stuff here, Joe is a graet vocalist and a class act. Keep rockin Joe, I hope your new band makes it out to LA soon.

I agree with vic here. Joe is way too cocky and comes along as full of himself. Watch his other interviews where he disses Deep Purple. Absolutely classless act, that's what he is!

Ritchie, despite being one of rock's greatest guitarists, plays medieval music and names Abba as one of his favorite bands. So excuse me if I disregard his feelings on the album.

He's not honest and truthful..he just has his own deluded version of events.
