@bigbengamer no, it's not misleading. the alaska independence party is who she is addressing, and their "Ultimate Goal" is for Alaskans to "get the vote they were denied in 1958". the vote is to decide if alaska should be

1. a US territory

2. an separate & independent nation

3. a commonwealth  OR

4. remain a state

if you don't believe it look it up for yourself, their site will confirm it.

i believe she & husband were active with it, it's a very large 3rd party.

The title of this video is misleading. She wasn't talking about Alaska being independent of the United States. This was a video message she addressed to the Independent Party of Alaska.
