thanks for this!! its a shame that Australian airlines is no longer flying anymore!

no joke. it's hard to imagine how the japanese put up with jetstar, being discerning travellers and all. australian looks much more preferable, although I'm sure you could argue jetstar has better brand recognition than australian ever did.

Dear All,
I have some questions about psychology:
(1) Why do we want to fly high?
(2) Why do many females want to be flight attendants?
(3) How will person be benefited by taking a job as flight attendants?
(4) Why some females want to be a pilot instead of a flight attendant?
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)
P.S. Nice Video. It shows the beautiful flight attendants in the golden-jet-age.

ANother Dixon experiment gone wrong. The Japanese market has shunned the replacement (JetStar), with Japanese agents sending PAX from Western Japan to Tokyo on the bullet train so as to use QF, or otherwise use CX via HongKong, to avoid the chap and nasty JetStar "product".
QF never has understood the Japanese market.

@82dots Just the inflight entertainment let it down...

Nothing will compare to Australia Airlines. It seriously delivered fantastic service as it was a full service all economy airline. 5 x 767-300ER aircraft. What a shame. The cabin crew were fantastic, they have since been merged into Qantas.

if only this carrier hasn't ceased operations, i could go singapore-denpasar far cheaper
i see, so you're from singapore, i never knew that it established a market there... but I think Jetstar has taken over in trying to establish a market in Asia. Jetstar is okay if you fly > 5 hrs but you pay for what you get

Honestly, Australian's brand was far better than Jetstar. Jetstar may be a good brand for an LCC in Asia, but Australian definetly emphasized the national pride of the airline. It's sad that Qantas would lose that for an orange star

that's right, Jetstar is all about low cost nothing about Australia at all. "It's all about CHOICE"
