Dawn Saunders, owner of the Albuquerque School of Massage Therapy performing scar tissue massage of the dorsal foot. The scar is a result of a lapidus bunionectomy corrective surgery 5 weeks ago. Myofascial release and scar tissue massage is performed on the patient. The patient had been in a non-weight bearing cast for 2 1/2 weeks and a walking boot for the last 2 1/2 weeks. She still has another week in the walking boot, but the scar is ready to be mobilized.
