  • hello! thanks for the tutorial! a few question for you though:

    1.) Would "gaussian blur" or any other "blurs" achieve this goal? I am working with very big pictures, so doing a whole outline could take a while, would I still get this same effect?

    2.) It's always the hair that looks the less blended in my bgs. The type of hair I am working with are locs, but I imagine this problem could arise with individual braids too. Are there any other methods for blending hair?

  • Good questions. Yes, there are actually several different ways to achieve the desired results. As of now, I have only posted the basic methods. More advanced methods are to come shortly.

    1)Depending on your version of Photoshop, try feathering the selected subject one or two pixels(alt+ctrl+d).

    2)Hair is the hardest and this basic method will take too much time. The best method for hair will be my next tutorial. I hope to get it out by June 4th.
