Heaven's Gate Soundtrack-Sweet Breeze

One of my favorite songs from the soundtrack CD of the movie "Heaven's Gate" I was looking to buy this CD & found it was out of print. I bought it at a music store for the price of $40. Even the store clerk exclaimed "FORTY DOLLARS!!!" when I bought it, but I guess it was worth it.

It would have been his last film then, since filming "Heaven's Gate" took a looong time, and Steve McQueen died 12 days before "Heaven's Gate" premiered.

I doubt Steve McQueen was considered, you see McQueen was an actor who only needed to rely on his "cool factor" in the movies he appeared in. He would have been insanely miscast in a serious movie like "Heaven's Gate".

According to imdb, John Wayne was considered in the early 70's when they planned the movie.
