Nothing But The Blues - Part 1 Martin Scorsese. Eric Clapton discusses who has influenced him throughout his career, with clips of performances by Howlin' Wolf, Buddy Guy, Muddy Waters, B.B. King, etc. Filmed by director Martin Scorcese, this documentary was broadcast once on PBS stations, but never officially released for reasons which remain unclear. A planned release on home video was slated for early summer 1995, and Warner/Reprise produced a limited number of advance copies to be used for promotion.

  • Eric Clapton learned and submitted to the study of the root-source of blues, the original black blues singers; thus Eric Clapton was taught by God and he then became The Son of God. Let us keep the hierarchy in its proper place, and not forget where Eric got it from. And indeed, the Son is like unto the Father and are one and the Same.

  • Well, Buddy Guy and BB King says Eric Clapton is the best, and i think they are right.. You find were they says it around her one youtube....

  • thaaaaaaaaaaaanks for the post

  • Is at the original dvd the same sound quality??

  • Oh yeah, you folks know it all!!! Keep knockin' all the greats....there can only be "one" I guess! All these other mothers just wasted everyone's time......c'mon, give me a break.

This is a tribute to the blues. It's not even about Eric but rather his homage. I appreciate those who pay homage, not so much those who just hurl insults.

    This is a favourite!!

  • @ptij0404 For all the Clapton lovers, everyone can pick their favorite,, but I agree Clapton is overrated and boring,,, Page, Beck, Hendrix, Buddy Guy, Brian May and others put him to shame !!!! I myself think NOBODY,,, BUT NO BODY can stand up to Stevie Ray Vaughan !!!!!!!!!!! I don't care if you agree or not,, I could care less,,, Its MY personal view and NOTHING could change it !!!

  • no no no i am the best

  • Clapton got scared of Mr Howling..

  • @musiccuts
