This demo, called "Desert Dream", by the legendary demogroup "Kefrens" on the Amiga won the demo competition at The Gathering 1993 demo party and is regarded by most people the best demo for the classic Commodore Amiga 500 (no AGA etc. like the Commodore 600 and 1200 that followed).
It's legendary status is proven by the fact that this must be the demo that has the most remakes made in remembrance of it, like a remake on the Commodore 64, the Amiga's little brother, a PC demo and a fully rendered animation.
Later this year, Desert Dream would come face to face with the best demo that the PC scene had to offer and debate, which demo was superior was never concluded.

Still so awesome.
I kind of liked the C-64 remake, as well.
