@RonzigsGallery After such a long hiatus, I am profoundly gratified to see that real plans are in effect to move ahead with space exploration on a major scale once more. The US has been in an uninterrupted state of war; either declared or undeclared since the day I was born. Let's hope that with a new focus on space exploration this preoccupation with killing our fellow humans will come to an end.

I'm 65 years old and the most wonderful event I can remember during my lifetime was the Apollo missions to the moon. I was saddened that the political will to continue this great adventure was sidelined in favor of the pursuit of better ways to make war and kill people.

That a planet would be better before human exploitation than after is at best a subjective judgement by youself. Do you really expect human species to let itself be extinct because some 2 watts brain like you thinks planets have some "preference" about their state. "Saving a planet" is a senseless thing to say if it doesnt harbor life
