Clowning Around 2

Clowning Around 2 was a short test film that was shot during set up on the set of Feature Film Slasher House. We hadn't really put the camera through its paces at all and since we had such a beautiful location we figured what better way than to make a test film.

As usual with my test films it ended up featuring a killer clown as thats what we had on set at the time, ready for Cleaver on the Slasher House shoot. All in all I was quite pleased with how the film turned out.

Clowning Around 2 was shot on a Canon 550d with the 18-55-mm Kit Lens, in completely natural and available light. It was graded using only FCP's Color Corrector.

The compression has brought out the grain a tad which is a shame and some of the darker areas are worse as I had yet to get the hang of ISO's and such at that point. Buts it's horror so it tends to add to the effect.
