A small video of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim played on an XPS15 L501X equipped with:
i3-370m
4Gb DDR3
320Gb 7200rpm
Geforce GT420m OC @ GT540m (672/1344/900) nVidia Drivers 280.26

The microstuttering is caused by the program used for record the video (due the high usage of the HDD in uncompressed video). Consider 15-20 FPS more without the recording in background.

  • @SimoxTa I have the same laptop as you but I'm running skyrim on low at <10 fps, how can I get it higher?

  • @acrimonious08 You're probably running the game with the HD3000 instead of the dGPU. On nVidia Control Panel, choose from the ropdown menu "Dedicated nVidia GPU" choosing the *.exe of Skyrim :)

  • @SimoxTa *dropdown menu
